UNIVERSITY ON THE NIGER (UNINGER) RELEASES POST-UTME/DE ADMISSION FORM FOR 2026/2027 ACADEMIC SESSION
The Management of the University on the Niger is pleased to announce that applications for admission into its various undergraduate programmes for the 2026/2027 Academic Session officially commenced on 9th May 2026.
The university, fully approved by the National Universities Commission (NUC) and accredited by relevant professional bodies, operates from two primary locations in Anambra State:

Permanent Site: Km 13 Onitsha-Enugu Expressway, Umunya.

Iyienu Campus: University on the Niger Teaching Hospital, Iyienu Ogidi.
I. ELIGIBILITY & REQUIREMENTS
To be considered for admission, candidates must meet the following mandatory criteria:

O’Level Results: At least five (5) credit passes in relevant subjects, including English Language and Mathematics, obtained in no more than two sittings.

JAMB Change of Institution: Candidates must effect a “Change of Institution/Course” to the University on the Niger via the official JAMB Portal.

JAMB CAPS: It is critical that O’Level results are uploaded to the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) for verification.
II. APPLICATION & REGISTRATION PROCEDURE
Eligible candidates are required to pay a non-refundable processing fee of ₦2,000.
Step-by-Step Guide:

Initial Registration: Visit the University Portal and complete the mini-form.

Payment: Click “Pay” to be redirected to the Paystack Gateway to settle the ₦2,000 fee.

Login Credentials: Use a valid email address you can access. Note: Your JAMB Registration Number will serve as your default password for the portal.

Profile Completion: Visit portal.uniniger.edu.ng/applicant, click on “Applicant Information,” and upload your:

Passport Photograph

O’Level Result(s)

JAMB Result Slip

Final Submission: You can also navigate via the main website (www.uniniger.edu.ng) under “Admission” > “Continue Application” to finalize and submit your form.
III. MODE OF SCREENING
The screening for the 2026/2027 session will be document-based. Admission will be determined through the assessment of:

Verified JAMB UTME results.

Verified O’Level results.
Warning: Any candidate found to have provided false information at any stage of the screening or admission exercise will be automatically disqualified.
IV. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Accommodation: The university maintains a residential policy; all students are required to reside in the school hostels.
