FEDERAL UNIVERSITY, DUTSE (​FUDUTSE) VICE-CHANCELLOR INTRODUCES NEW SUMMER PROGRAM TO TACKLE CARRY OVERS

​In order to help students with carry overs and spill over to graduate on time, the Vice-Chancellor Federal University Dutse, Professor Ahmad Muhammed Gumel has introduced summer program window for students to remedy their carry overs and spill over so that they can graduate on time.

​The VC who presented the proposal and was approved at his first maiden Senate, said it has come to the notice of the Senate that there are many students who may not graduate even with their spill over because they can’t remedy their carry overs within the period of their residency adding that the summer program will give such students the opportunity to clear their courses and graduate on time.

​Prof. Gumel said the summer program will commence this session and modalities for its operation will be announced soon.

​He urged the students to take their studies seriously because that’s is the reason they are in the university adding that management is ever ready to create a conducive atmosphere of learning to them.

​The President of the Students Union Government, Comrade Isa Ibrahim expressed hsi profound gratitude to the VC for this gesture which will go a long way to assist students with carry over and spill over and enable them graduate without unnecessary delays.
