BAYERO UNIVERSITY, KANO (BUK) BEGINS UPLOADING OF ADMISSION LIST ON JAMB CAPS FOR THE 2025/2026 ACADEMIC SESSION
This is to inform all candidates who participated in the 2025/2026 Bayero University, Kano (BUK) Admission Screening Exercise that they can proceed to check if their names are on the Provisional Admission list of successful candidates.
The list of admitted candidates has been uploaded online via JAMB CAPS. Candidates are to follow the procedure below to check:
Visit: https://efacility.jamb.gov.ng/ and login with your registered email address and password to access your dashboard.
Click on “Check Admission Status”.
Click on “Access my CAPS”.
Click on “Admission Status” to see if you have been offered admission.
If you have been admitted, you will get a response with your Photo Image being displayed and a text Congratulating you on your admission offer. If you have not been offered admission yet, you will see the text: “Sorry, No Admission has been Given Yet”.
How to Accept or Reject the Offer
If you have been offered admission, you can proceed to Accept or Reject the offer by sending ACCEPT or REJECT as an SMS to 55019 or 66019 using the specific phone number linked to your JAMB profile.
Deadline: Candidates have 4 weeks to accept the offer of admission.
No SIM Card? Those who do not have access to their registered phone numbers are to visit a JAMB accredited centre to Accept or Reject the offer.
Next Steps: It is important to note that candidates who accept their admission must print their admission letter, as this will be required during clearance and registration at the institution.
Important Note for Mobile Users
If you are using a smartphone, you may only see a “Welcome” message and not the full options. To fix this:
Use the Chrome Browser.
Go to the Chrome menu (three dots in the corner).
Select “Request Desktop Site” to display the complete page.
What “Admission in Progress” Means
If your status is showing Admission in Progress, please check back later. This means that your admission is currently being processed by the institution and JAMB; it will soon be updated to “Congratulations, you’ve been admitted.”
