Detailed Admission Eligibility & Requirements

To maintain high academic standards, the following criteria must be met by all applicants:

JAMB UTME Performance: Candidates must have sat for the 2026 JAMB UTME and achieved a minimum score of 160.

Mandatory Change of Institution: It is a strict requirement that candidates select Regina Caeli College of Nursing Sciences, Awka as their First Choice on the JAMB portal. If you did not originally choose the institution, you are advised to visit an accredited JAMB CBT center to effect a “Change of Institution” before the Post-UTME registration deadline.

O’Level Documentation: Candidates must possess a minimum of five (5) credit passes in WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB. These credits must include English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics, obtained in no more than two sittings.

Awaiting Results Policy: Candidates who applied with “Awaiting Result” must ensure their O’Level results are uploaded to the JAMB CAPS portal immediately. Failure to upload these results prior to the Post-UTME screening may result in disqualification.

Subject Combination: Ensure your UTME subject combination matches the requirements for Nursing (English, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics).

IMPORTANT ADMISSION DATES

Prospective students are urged to take note of the following timeline to avoid missing out on this session:

Commencement of Sales: The sale of admission forms begins on 1st May 2026.

Closing Date: The application portal will officially close on 10th September 2026. No late entries will be entertained.

Post-UTME Screening Exercise: The screening examination is scheduled to take place on 11th September 2026. Candidates are advised to begin their preparations early, as the screening will test core science subjects and general aptitude.
