MINARET UNIVERSITY, IKIRUN ANNOUNCES 1ST MATRICULATION CEREMONY

The Management of Minaret University is immensely proud to announce the 1st Matriculation Ceremony for our pioneer students of the 2025/2026 academic session. This historic event marks the formal induction of our first-ever cohort—the “Foundational Class”—into the academic and spiritual community of the University.

To our pioneer students: You are the bedrock of this great institution. Your journey of Faith, Knowledge, and Service officially begins now, and we are honored to guide you as you step into your future and begin shaping your legacy.

EVENT PARTICULARS

We warmly invite parents, guardians, well-wishers, and the entire university community to join us in celebrating this monumental milestone:

• Date: Thursday, 30th April 2026 (13 Dhul-Qa’dah 1447 AH)

• Time: 11:00 AM Prompt

• Venue: University Multi-Purpose Hall, Minaret University Campus

NOTICE TO PIONEER MATRICULANTS

As this is the University’s first-ever matriculation, all students are required to adhere strictly to the following protocols to ensure a dignified ceremony:

1. Academic Gowns: Matriculating students must ensure they have collected their official academic robes from the Student Affairs Office no later than 24 hours before the event.

2. Procession & Seating: All students are expected to be fully dressed and joined in the academic procession. Please be at the venue and seated by 10:30 AM; late entry will not be permitted once the Chancellor’s procession has begun.

3. The Matriculation Oath: This ceremony includes the formal signing of the Matriculation Register and the administration of the University Oath. These are legal requirements for full membership in the university.

4. Dress Code: Beneath the academic gown, students are expected to dress formally and in accordance with the university’s moral and ethical dress guidelines.

INFORMATION FOR GUESTS & FAMILIES

• Arrival: To avoid congestion at the campus gates, we recommend that parents and guests arrive at least 30 minutes before the commencement of the event.

• Photography: While we encourage capturing these memories, designated areas are provided for photography to prevent the disruption of the formal academic proceedings.

• Refreshments: Guests will be directed to designated reception areas immediately following the ceremony.
