USMANU DANFODIYO UNIVERSITY, SOKOTO (UDUS) ISSUES IMPORTANT NOTICE ON COURSE REGISTRATION FOR 2025/2026 ACADEMIC SESSION
The University Management, acting on recent data from the Directorate of Information and Communication Technology (DICT), has identified two critical categories of students who are yet to finalize their residency for the 2025/2026 academic session.
To avoid severe academic penalties, all students are directed to review the following deadlines and comply immediately.
I. CATEGORY 1: FEES PAID, BUT COURSE REGISTRATION PENDING
This applies to students who have successfully settled their tuition/registration fees but have not completed their online course enrollment.

Action Required: Log in to the portal and finalize course selection and submission.

Deadline: Wednesday, 22nd April 2026

Penalty: Failure to comply will lead to the automatic deferment of the First Semester for the 2025/2026 session.
II. CATEGORY 2: UNPAID FEES & UNCOMPLETED REGISTRATION
This applies to students who have neither paid their registration fees nor commenced their course registration.

Action Required: Pay all necessary fees and complete the full course registration process.

Deadline: Wednesday, 29th April 2026

Penalty: Failure to comply will result in the automatic deferment of the entire 2025/2026 Academic Session.
III. FINAL CLOSURE OF REGISTRATION PORTAL
Please be informed that the 2025/2026 registration exercise will officially and finally close on:
Thursday, 30th April 2026
After this date, the portal will be deactivated, and no further registrations or payments will be entertained for this session.
IV. INSTRUCTIONS FOR HEADS OF DEPARTMENTS (HODs)
The University Management requests all Heads of Departments to:

Disseminate this information widely through departmental notice boards and student platforms.

Facilitate compliance by assisting students who may face departmental hurdles in their registration process.

Monitor the registration status of students within their departments to minimize the risk of mass deferments.
CONCLUSION: PROTECT YOUR ACADEMIC STATUS
Students are advised that these deadlines are final. The University remains committed to a seamless administrative process, but this requires full cooperation from the student body. Do not wait until the final 24 hours to avoid potential network congestion.
