ADAMAWA STATE UNIVERSITY ANNOUNCES DEADLINE FOR COURSE REGISTRATION FOR 2025/2026 ACADEMIC SESSION

The University Management has issued a critical deadline for all students regarding the completion of academic registration for the 2025/2026 session. The online registration portal is officially scheduled to close on Friday, 27th February, 2026.

This notice serves as the final administrative warning to all returning and fresh students. Completing this process is the only way to validate your status as a bona fide student for the current semester.

Mandatory Registration Requirements

To ensure your registration is successful and reflected in the university database, you must complete the following steps before the deadline:

  • Financial Clearance: Payment of all prescribed school fees (or a minimum of 50%, as per institutional policy) and generation of an official electronic receipt.

  • Course Enrollment: Selection and submission of all core and elective courses for the first and second semesters.

  • Adviser Approval: Ensuring your Course Registration Form (CRF) is electronically or physically signed by your Departmental Level Adviser.

  • Bio-data Update: Verification and updating of personal information, including your National Identification Number (NIN) and contact details.

Pre-Examination Preparations and Zero Extension Policy

The Management has explicitly stated that there will be no extension of this deadline. The portal closure is a hard cutoff necessitated by the upcoming examination schedule.

  • Examination Lists: Immediately following the portal closure, the Directorate of Academic Affairs will begin generating the official “Table of Candidates” and examination attendance sheets.

  • Eligibility: Only students with a “Completed” registration status on the portal will have their names appear on the examination lists and be eligible to sit for the First Semester papers.

  • ID Card Validation: Registration data is also used to validate student ID cards for entrance into examination halls.

Actionable Advice for Students

To avoid last-minute technical glitches or portal congestion, students are advised to take the following steps immediately:

  1. Verify Status: Log in to your student dashboard to confirm that your registration status is marked as “Approved” or “Completed.”

  2. Resolve Discrepancies: If you have paid your fees but your portal still shows “Pending,” visit the Bursary Unit or the ICT Center with your payment evidence for immediate reconciliation.

  3. Print Documentation: Ensure you print at least three (3) copies of your registered course forms—one for your personal records, one for your department, and one for your faculty.

Failure to comply with this directive will result in the inability to participate in the upcoming First Semester Examinations, which could lead to an automatic carry-over or a forced suspension of studies for the session.
