This ceremony is a double celebration, honoring graduands from both the 2023/2024 and 2024/2025 academic sessions.

This event represents the pinnacle of years of hard work, research, and practical training for thousands of students who have been found worthy in both character and learning to receive their National Diplomas (ND) and Higher National Diplomas (HND).

Event Schedule

  • Date: Saturday, 7th February 2026

  • Time: 10:00 a.m. Prompt

  • Venue: Convocation Arena, Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja

What to Expect During the Ceremony

The convocation is more than just receiving a certificate; it is a rich academic tradition. The day will feature:

  • The Academic Procession: Led by the Rector and members of the Academic Board in their colorful regalia.

  • Award of Diplomas: The formal conferment of ND and HND certificates to graduands across various schools, including Engineering, Applied Sciences, and Management Studies.
