FEDERAL UNIVERSITY, LAFIA (FULAFIA) EXTENDS POSTGRADUATE APPLICATION DEADLINE FOR 2025/2026 ACADEMIC SESSION

The Federal University of Lafia (FULafia), through its Centre for Continuing Education and Professional Development (CCEPD), has officially announced an extension for the sale of part-time degree application forms. This extension applies to the 2025/2026 Batch ‘B’ academic session.

 


New Deadline: Friday, 20th February, 2026

The university is providing a significant window of additional time for interested applicants who may have missed the initial deadline.

  • Original Deadline: Tuesday, 20th January, 2026.

  • Extended Deadline: Friday, 20th February, 2026.


Available Part-Time Degree Programmes

Applications are open across seven diverse faculties, offering a wide range of academic paths:

  • Faculty of Arts: Arabic Studies, English & Literary Studies, History & International Studies, Islamic Studies, Christian Religious Studies, and Hausa.

  • Faculty of Computing: B.Sc. Computer Science.

  • Faculty of Management Science: B.Sc. Accounting and B.Sc. Business Administration.

  • Faculty of Social Sciences: Criminology & Security Studies, Economics, Political Science, Social Work, Sociology, Library & Information Science, and Psychology.

  • Faculty of Agricultural Science: B.A. Agriculture.

  • Faculty of Environmental Design: B.Sc. Geography & Environmental Management.

  • Faculty of Science: B.Sc. Mathematics and B.Sc. Statistics.


Entry Requirements and Duration

Prospective students can apply for entry at different levels depending on their current academic qualifications:

Entry Level Qualifications Required Duration
Part One (100 Level) Minimum of five (5) O’Level passes at credit level, including English and Mathematics. Minimum of twelve (12) semesters.
Part Two (200 Level) IJMB, National Diploma (ND), National Certificate of Education (NCE), or a recognized diploma. Minimum of ten (10) semesters.
Special Direct Entry Higher National Diploma (HND) or a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field. Minimum of four (4) semesters.

Method and Mode of Application

The application process is handled through integrated digital platforms to ensure transparency and efficiency:

  1. JAMB Prerequisite: Candidates for FULafia part-time programs (except Special Direct Entry) must first apply for admission through JAMB before processing their admission on the CCEPD portal.

  2. Online Portal: Applicants should use the official CCEPD online portal at https://my.fulafia.edu.ng/login using their JAMB registration number.

  3. Processing Fees: The CCEPD online admission processing fee is ₦12,000.00 (Twelve thousand naira only).

     

  4. Payment Method: All payments must be made securely via the REMITA platform.

  5. Special Direct Entry: Applicants for the Special Direct Entry programme should visit the CCEPD office physically for application processing.
