ABIA STATE UNIVERSITY [ABSU] RELEASES FIRST BATCH ADMISSION LIST ON SCHOOL PORTAL FOR THE 2025/2026 ACADEMIC SESSION
Abia State University (ABSU), Uturu, has officially released the first batch of admissions for candidates offered provisional admission into its regular undergraduate degree programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session.
This important update was announced on October 10, 2025, through the office of the Registrar, Dr. Acho Elendu, under the leadership of the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Ndukwe J. Okedu.
How to Check ABSU Admission Status
All successful candidates are advised to:
1. Visit the official ABSU website: www.abiastateuniversity.edu.ng
2. Log in to the ABSU portal to:
Print their ABSU Offer-of-Admission Letter
Print their JAMB Admission Letter
After printing these documents, students are expected to report to the Admissions Office at the university’s main campus in Uturu for further processing.
Acceptance of Admission and Payment Instructions
Once you confirm your admission, you must:
Collect your Acceptance-of-Offer Slip at the Admissions Office.
Pay the required acceptance fees through any of the designated banks listed below:
✅ ABSU Microfinance Bank, Uturu
✅ First Bank Plc
✅ Signature Bank
✅ Zenith Bank Plc
✅ Fidelity Bank Plc
✅ Union Bank Plc
✅ UBA Plc
✅ Payment can also be made via bank debit cards
Important Deadline
All admitted candidates must accept their offer of admission on or before Friday, 31st October, 2025.
Any offer not accepted before this date will be considered lapsed (cancelled).

Candidates, parents, guardians, and sponsors are strongly advised to take note of this notice and act quickly to avoid losing their admission opportunity.
