SHEHU SHAGARI UNIVERSITY OF EDUCATION, SOKOTO RELEASES DEPARTMENTAL ADMISSION CUT-OFF MARKS FOR THE 2025/2026 ACADEMIC SESSION

This is to inform the general public, particularly all prospective students, parents, guardians, and other stakeholders that the management of Shehu Shagari University of Education has officially released the approved admission cut-off marks for the 2025/2026 academic session.

The cut-off marks represent the minimum scores that candidates are expected to attain in their Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) in order to qualify for consideration into the various undergraduate programmes offered by the institution. These scores serve as the benchmark for determining a candidate’s eligibility for admission, depending on the course of study chosen.

It is important to note that candidates who do not meet the prescribed cut-off marks for their desired programmes are strongly advised to consider applying for other courses within the university where their UTME scores may be acceptable. This is to increase their chances of being admitted without necessarily waiting for another academic year.
