CIRCULAR TO ALL MEMBERS OF THE UNIVERSITY COMMUNITY

PUBLIC HOLIDAY

I write on behalf of the Vice Chancellor of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba-Akoko, Professor Olugbenga E. IGE, to inform all members of staff and students of the University that the Federal Government has declared Friday, 1st October, 2021 as public holiday to mark Nigeria’s 61st Independence Anniversary.

The Vice Chancellor has, therefore, directed that the University be closed for official duties on Friday, 1st October, 2021, except for those on essential duties. All members of staff and students are requested to note that official activities resume on Monday, 4th October, 2021.

The Vice Chancellor wishes all members of the University community happy Independence Day celebration.
