FEDERAL POLYTECHNIC OKO, (OKO POLY) SUG REGISTERS DISSATISFACTION/LAMENTS OVER THE LINGERED STRIKE IN A MEETING WITH THE SCHOOL RECTOR

The Students Union Government Ably led by Giant Comr Awagu Michael Nnabuike mounts pressure on the school management.

Calls upon the School management to heed the Call and demands of ASUP.

At the early hours of today the Students Union Government was in a meeting with the school management where the distinguished rector of the Polytechnic was advised to swing into action in regards to the demands of ASUP. While the SUG lamented, they noted that the students are not happy and angry in view of the situation on ground.

The school management maintained and affirmed Support for the SUG officials, promised them to do everything possible to make things right.

The rector promised the SUG that the academic calendar would be favourable to the students as she promised that Students would graduate as at when due . She informed that the strike will phase as the negotiation between the managements and ASUP is yielding positive results.

The SUG uses this medium in advising Students to be law abiding and security concious as security is every body’s bussines.

The Students Union Government Ably led by Giant Comr Awagu Michael will keep on representing Students effectively.
