Sequel to the recent report which was released by the management of the Obafemi Awolowo University as regards the scheduling of the 2021/22 post utme exercise.

The management Wishes to inform all interested Applicants that the Registration portal for the post utme exercise has been enabled.

Interested applicants can now proceed to the institution official website for their Registration and payment for the screening exercise.

Please Note,the institution is merging two academic Sessions, owing to this ,the Registration portal will display as ‘2020/21 admission screening exercise

The reason is that,the post utme for the 2020/21 was Batch ‘A’ while the new section is Batch ‘B’.

The Federal Government has approved the sum of N75,000 as a stipend per semester for students undergoing degree programmes in Education in public universities in Nigeria.

Also, the Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) students will get N50,000 as a stipend per semester as part of the deliberate effort of the goverment to attract the best brains into the teaching profession as promised by President Muhammadu Buhari last year.

Minister of Education, Malam Adamu announced this, on Tuesday, at the World Teachers’ Day celebration held at Eagle Square, Abuja.

Adamu whose speech was read by the Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Education, Arc. Sonny Echono said his ministry would collaborate with the states’ government to ensure automatic employment for the students on graduation.

He said: “Undergraduate students of B.Ed / B.A. Ed/ BSc. Ed in Public institutions are to receive stipends of N75,000.00  per semester while NCE students will get N50,000.00 as stipends per semester.

“Federal Government should find the modality through which respective states’ governments could provide automatic employment for NCE graduates at Basic Education level.”

Pay N2600.00 only for matriculation brochure at FUTO Microfinance Bank, convert the teller to receipt at Bursary desk at the bank and collect brochure at the matriculation venue.

Obtain Academic Gown from your Department at no further cost on presentation of school fees and matriculating brochure receipt.

Return the Academic Gown to your Department not later than 3.00pm on Tuesday, October 12, 2021.

All mutilated or lost gowns shall attract a penalty of N8,000 each

Procession, led by the SAO, starts at 10.00 am from the Macho man (round about, after the bridge) in an orderly manner to the Arena

Obtain your serial number from your SAO for use during the procession, sitting at venue and for signing of the matricula.

Ahead of the NAOSS 2021 National Convention, the Leading National Presidential Candidate, Comr. Olubunmi Ololajulo visited the College of Education, Agbor, Delta State(now University of Delta) on Friday, 1st, October, 2021 where the NAOSS Senators from the SOUTH-SOUTH and SOUTH-EAST zones of the country converged to receive him.

Comr. Olubunmi Ololajulo reiterated his commitment in running an All-inclusive Government and a NAOSS and also assured the Senators of His readiness to serve them when elected.

Speaking at the meeting, the Representative of the NAOSS SOUTH-SOUTH Co-ordinator, Comr. Adewale Majofodun described Comr. Olubunmi Ololajulo as the best Man to pilot the affairs of the NAOSS-National Body owing to his pedigree, experience and commitment to impacting lives.

Furthermore, the Senators present at the meeting assured Comr. Olubunmi Ololajulo of their massive turnout in the election while noting that He’s part of them in the Zone and they’ve known him for his integrity and quest for a better society; Thus, they will always stay by him, for him and with him.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
i. General Entry Requirements for National Diploma (ND) Programmes
Senior School Certificates Examination (WAEC/NECO & NABTEB) with at least five (5) credits obtained at not more than two (2) sittings, which must include English, Mathematics and three other relevant subjects from the minimum entry requirements specified in the current JAMB Brochure.

ii. Requirements for all Higher National Diploma (HND) Programmes are as follows:
a. SSCE / JAMB entry requirements for the corresponding National Diploma Programmes as published in the current JAMB Brochure.
b. Relevant National Diploma at not below LOWER CREDIT Grade.
c. At least one-year Post-National Diploma relevant Industrial Experience.
d. Students for Bi-lingual programme are to liaise with the Department for preparatory classes in French.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

Applicants are to pay a fee of Fifteen Thousand Naira (N15,000.00) (excluding result verification fee and any transaction charges). Payment can be made online or in the bank. The College does not accept cash payments.

Candidates should visit the College website at www.yabatech.edu.ng and follow the instructions to complete the online application form and submit it. All prospective applicants for admission into the College Part-Time Programmes for the 2021/2022 academic session are required to also apply for the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Admission Application form at any JAMB Accredited CBT CENTRE so as to make the processing of their admission possible on JAMB Central Admission Processing System (CAPS). Please note that admission into all tertiary institutions in Nigeria for all First Degree/National Diploma programmes should be conducted through JAMB. Therefore, it is mandatory for all applicants for Part-Time programmes in the College to also apply for Jamb application forms. The Jamb Application Registration number is to be provided on the College Admission On-Line Application Form to enable admitted candidates to obtain a JAMB Admission letter and remove the process of regularization of admission.
