A. Registration:

Commences from Wednesday 29th September – Wednesday 20th October 2021 between the hours of 8:30am – 3:00pm daily except for public holidays and weekends.

C. Qualification:

WASSCE GCE NECO OR NABTEB with credits in English Language, Chemistry, Physics, Biology and Mathematics, in not More than two (2) Sittings NABTEB Result cannot be combined with any other.

• Certificate or Local government of Origin
• Change of name (if applicable)
• Age (16 years and above)

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Part-Time Degree Programmes of the Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta.
The sale of the application form opens on Wednesday 30th September, 2021 and will close on Thursday 16th December, 2021.

The application form fee is Fifteen Thousand Naira (₦15,000.00) excluding bank charges.

NOTE: The date for the Screening Exercise would be communicated to all the applicants, Direct Entry applicants are exempted from the screening. Candidates should also check the FUNAAB Part-Time admission portal to verify the date and venue of the screening.

Ezeiruaku Ifenyinwa Fidelia, a serving member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) that was dehumanized and severely punished by a female army personnel Lt. Chika Viola Anele, in Calabar has revealed what led to the altercation.

According to Fidelia, the army officer mixed sand with water and poured the mixture on her because they had an argument over ”small chops”.⁣

⁣She further revealed that the officer told her that she was a lowlife and a dirty pig who hadn’t washed her cheap bra for three months, smashed her with a bowl, among other derogatory words.

The Governor of Niger State, Alhaji Abubakar Sani Bello has graciously approved further reduction in the tuition fees for Students of Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University, Lapai.

A statement issued by Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Ahmed Ibrahim Matane disclosed that the review downward of the tuition fees only affects returning Students (indigene) from N50,000 to N46,000 and new Students (indigene) from N95,000 to N86,000.

The SSG explained that Governor Sani Bello who after listening to representations from members of the State House of Assembly, different stakeholders, including the Students’ union, intervened by reducing the tuition fees of indigene Students downward.

Ahmed Matane revealed that the tuition fees for the non-indigene Students (returning), new Students (non-indigene), new foreign Students and returning foreign Students remain unchanged.

Candidates who wish to be admitted into Olabisi Onabanjo University, Ago Iwoye and scored a minimum of 160 in this year’s UTME/DE are hereby invited to apply for the 2021/2022 Academic year.

Afenifere has advised the President Muhammadu Buhari administration to allow National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) members to serve in their home states.

The National Publicity Secretary, Jere Ajayi made the call in a statement on Monday.

Apex Yoruba organization said the insecurity in Nigeria required that adjustments be made where necessary.

The body regretted how corps members were asked to inform their people to prepare ransom in case they were kidnapped while travelling.

“What else could underscore the unfortunate level to which insecurity in the country has fallen? It is in this respect that Afenifere calls for the NYSC to allow youth corpers to serve the nation in their respective states at least for now.”

Afenifere noted that the federal government’s handling of kidnapping has emboldened the perpetrators to continue in their dastardly acts.

Commending the military’s efforts, Afenifere said terrorists appear to be more expanding going by the submission of Humanitarian Affairs Minister, Sadiya Farouq, that over 330,000 Nigerians are in neighbouring countries due to insurgency and banditry.

“We call on the government to immediately allow states to transform their respective security networks into state police with all the powers appertaining thereto”, Ajayi added.
