Applicants must possess the following:
- National Diploma in the relevant discipline with a minimum of Lower Credit from Captain Elechi Amadi Polytechnic or any recognised Polytechnic.
- Evidence of one year post National Diploma (ND) relevant Industrial Works Experience Scheme (SIWES).
- Applicants must satisfy all requirements for admission into relevant ND programmes in the relevant department of choice.
- Applicants from other Polytechnics should ensure that their academic transcripts are forwarded by their Institutions early enough to the Registrar, Captain Elechi Amadi Polytechnic.

- Applications for all programmes should be carried out online through the Polytechnic’s Website www.portharcourtpoly.edu.ng or http://ecampus.portharcourtpoly.edu.ng .
- Application Form costs Twelve Thousand Naira (N12, 000.00) only. All applicants are required to pay additional Two Thousand Five Hundred Naira (N2, 500.00) only and Three Hundred Naira (N300.00) only as portal and bank charges respectively.
- All interested candidates are expected to apply online by logging into the Polytechnic’s portal: portharcourtpoly.edu.ng or http://ecampus.portharcourtpoly.edu.ng to make an e-payment. Candidates can make the e-payment by either generating a transaction ID for the fee online and then proceed to any of the designated Banks (Zenith Bank, First Bank, UBA, Fidelity Bank, Sterling Bank, FCMB and Union Bank) to pay, using the Pay Direct option or with an Interswitch enabled Verve or Master Card.

- Admission into the National Diploma Programmes is open to candidates who sat and passed the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination for 2020/2021 scored 120 points and above and satisfies the minimum UTME cut off point for specific programmes.
- Applicants may be required to undertake a screening exercise. Applicants will be notified of the date and venue of the screening exercise where applicable.
- Candidates who did not choose, Captain Elechi Amadi Polytechnic Rumuola, Port Harcourt may also apply as there are very limited opportunities for admissions into ND Programmes for 2020/2021 Academic year. Iyi-Enu Mission Hospital School of Nursing Entrance Exam Schedule & Modalities for 2020/2021 Academic Session Now on Sale
This is to inform all the candidates that applied for admission into the School of Nursing, Iyi-Enu Mission Hospital, Ogidi, Anambra State, that the management of the institution has released the dates, venue, arrangement and modalities for the 2020/2021 entrance examination.
Iyi-Enu School of Nursing Entrance Exam Date, Arrangement & Modalities.
The entrance examination into School of Nursing, Iyi-Enu would be held over a period of four (4) days, from 14th to 17th September, 2020 by 9am daily and the following shall be the arrangement for the conduct of the examination.
1. Due to COVID-19 pandemic, and observing the rules of the National Center for Disease Control (NCDC), all candidates would be expected to come to the exams on different days.
- 14th Sept, 2020: Candidates with exam number/ID 0001-0200
- 15th Sept, 2020: Candidates with exam number/ID 0201-0400
- 16th Sept, 2020: Candidates with exam number/ID 0401-0600
- 17th Sept, 2020: Candidates with exam number/ID 0601-0800
2. FACE MASK: All candidates MUST come along with their face mask.
3. PRECAUTION: You are expected to wash your hands or use sanitizers that would be provided before entering the exam hall
4. EXAM SLIP: All candidates are expected to come with coloured print-out of their exam slips/photo cards as black and white print outs WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED OR ALLOWED TO WRITE THE EXAM. For those who may have misplaced the old print out can log on to their personal account at http://iyienusonam.co.uk/p/jax_log.php alternatively, you can get your print out in the school.
5. EXAM MATERIAL: You are also expected to come along with your writing materials. Calculator is allowed
6. PHONE: No phone whatsoever shall be allowed into the exam hall.
7. DRESS CODE: It is expected that you dress properly/decently. This is a mission school and trousers are not allowed.
8. EARLY ARRIVAL: Endeavour to be on time to get your new sitting arrangement as the exams is expected to start by 9:00am.

Ekiti State University (EKSU) Certificates & Transcripts Processing / Collection Procedure
The management of the Ekiti State University (EKSU) has published the procedure for the online processing of certificates and/or transcripts for its alumni members.
The processing is simple. You apply online and then you’re contacted to collect your certificate and/or transcript from the school.
EKSU Certificates & Transcripts Processing and Collection Guidelines.
- Applicants are to pay the stipulated fees for the collection of certificates through Remita into the designated University accounts.
- Applicants are to complete, submit and download a personal copy of the form for the release of certificates online at eksu.edu.ng
- Applicants are to submit evidence of payment and scanned copy of Notification of Result alongside the form before online submission.
- Applicants should wait to be contacted through E-mail or SMS on the readiness of the Certificates/Notification of Results and/or Transcripts for collection.
- Collection of Certificates and Transcripts shall be between the hours of 9.00a.m. and 4.00 p.m. (Monday – Friday) daily.
- All Alumni who are yet to collect their certificates are hereby required to do so not later than 31st December, 2020. Those who fail to collect before the deadline (31st December, 2020) shall be made to pay a penalty fee of Ten Thousand Naira (N10.000.00) only, for the first year with effect from the date of Senate approval of the result. There shall also be an additional penalty fee of Five Thousand Naira (N5,000.00) for the subsequent years, thereafter.

COVID-19 patient writes WASSCE from isolation centre in Gombe
A candidate who tested positive for COVID – 19 in Gombe State on Monday wrote his first paper in the ongoing West African Senior School Certificate Examination from an isolation centre .
The unnamed male candidate wrote his Mathematics examination under the supervision of an invigilator who was fully kitted in a Personal Protective Equipment.
The Gombe State Public Health Emergency Operations Centre disclosed this in a message posted on its Twitter handle , @GombePHEOC , on Monday .
The candidate was simply identified as a final year student of Government Senior Secondary School, Gombe .
The tweet read, “ Health and education are a priority in Gombe State.
“ A final year student of GSSS Gombe tested positive for COVID -19 and was isolated yesterday ( Sunday ) , today ( Monday ) , he is writing Mathematics SSCE while ensuring his invigilator is well protected. ”
The message was accompanied by two photographs showing the candidate and his fully kitted invigilator .
The tweet has attracted commendation from many Twitter users, including the Director -General, Nigerian Centre for Disease Control , Dr . Chikwe Ihekweazu .
Ihekweazu , who was one of those tagged, responded via his verified Twitter handle @Chikwe_ I, saying , “ Good work by our colleagues in # Gombe

- Candidates are advised to visit The Federal Polytechnic, Idah website, i.e., www.fepoda.edu.ng and follow the steps below to make payment on-line, fill their details and print out the screening slip:
- click on “Screening Payment”;
- fill the form with valid e-mail address and password containing at least eight(8) characters in alphabets and numbers and print out the Payment Invoice with Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR);
- take the printed Payment Invoice to any bank for the payment of the two thousand naira (₦2000.00); and
- go back to the School website (http://www.fepoda.edu.ng
) to complete the registration with the following data by clicking on “Finish Registration”.
- JAMB Registration Number, JAMB Score, State of Origin, First, Second, and other choices of courses;
- Upload passport-sized photograph of not more than 22kb in size; and
- Print out the form (Admission Screening Details).
CLOSING DATE: Purchase and submission of forms on-line will close by 11:59 p.m. on 5th September, 2020.
NB: Candidates are advised to come with their writing materials for the test. The Federal Polytechnic, Idah does not condone any form of falsification of results as candidates involved will automatically be disqualified.

Federal University Dutsin-Ma (FUDMA) Direct Entry Screening Form for 2020/2021 Academic Session Now on Sale
This is to inform all DIRECT ENTRY (DE) candidates who chose the Federal University Dutsin-Ma as first choice for 2020/2021 academic session admission to register online for the screening exercise
FUDutsin-ma Direct Entry Screening Eligibility.
The Direct Entry (DE) applicants must satisfy the following requirements before registration for the screening:
- NCE holders must have a minimum of nine (9) points;
- Diploma holders must have at least lower credit and should note that Diploma obtained from other Universities are not accepted for admission in FUDMA;
- IJMB must have a minimum of overall score of six (6) points (with at least one point in all the courses taken).
All eligible candidates must have five (5) ‘O’ level credits including English Language and Mathematics in the relevant subject.
How to Apply for FUDMA Direct Entry Screening.
All eligible Direct Entry candidates are required to visit the University portal: http://portal.fudutsinma.edu.ng/admissions to register for the screening, then proceed to make a payment of two thousand naira (N2,000.00) only.
You are to note that an online preliminary screening exercise would be conducted via the screening form and no admission examination will be required of you at any time. The steps required are:
- Click on to http://portal.fudutsinma.edu.ng/admissions.
- Read the instruction carefully
- Ensure filling the correct information about your personal and academic data in the columns available
- Ensure putting a correct and active email in the column of your personal data
- Click on save for the submission of your data for further processing
- Go to the payment column for processing of the payment charges
- After payment, print the payment confirmation slip.

Applications are hereby invited from suitably qualified candidates for admissions into the undergraduate programmes of the Federal University, Dutsin-Ma, FUDMA for the 2020/2021 academic session.
Candidates Eligible for Federal University Dutsin-Ma Post UTME:
The UTME candidates must have scored a minimum of 160 in the 2020 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) in their chosen course of study except the following whose minimum Cut-off Points are 180 viz:
- Political Science
- Sociology
- Accounting
- Economics and Development Studies
- Microbiology
- Biochemistry and Molecular Biology
- Library and Information Science

Abia State University (ABSU) Set for Resumption
The Vice-Chancellor, Abia State University, *Distinguished Professor E. Uche Ikonne*, has disclosed the preparedness of the University to resume normal Academic Activities, as soon as, approval is given by the relevant State and Federal Government Authorities
In readiness for the Reopening, the University Management is set to obey the directives of Government in Physical facilities, including Hostel accommodation, Lecture theatres; Fumigation of premises; COVID-19 testing facilities; Medical facilities and mechanism for dealing with possible cases of COVID-19 infection and other protective checks, in obedience to the NCDC Protocols, to guarantee the health and safety of Students and Staff of the University.
The Vice-Chancellor who disclosed this while receiving Report of the Committee on ABSU COVID-19 Reopening, further disclosed that the Reopening of the University will be in phases, starting with the Final year Students, while all Returning Students would be expected to show evidence of recent valid COVID-19 Test Results, from recognized NCDC Centres in the Country, to be eligible to participate in the forthcoming Examinations.
Other Recommendations of the Committee include:
- That all Teaching and Non-Teaching Staff should be tested to know their COVID-19 status.
- That all Returning Students should come along with at least, a pair of face masks.
- That all Staff, Students and Visitors into the University must wear their face mask.
- That Sick-bay and Isolation centres be provided in the University, to handle Emergency cases, before referral to appropriate Treatment centres.
- That Water and Detergent should be provided on Entry and other Designated places in the University, for regular hand washing.
- That Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) should be provided for the University Health workers.
- That the Department of Pure and Industrial Chemistry should be mobilised to continue to produce ABSU Hand Sanitizers for Staff and Students.
- That adequate sensitization should be done to create the necessary awareness to ensure strict compliance.
- That any suspected case of COVID-19 infection should be reported to the appropriate Health Facility.
The Vice-Chancellor, *Distinguished Professor E. Uche Ikonne*, reassured Staff, Students and Visitors to the University of their safety, while urging all to take Responsibility, to avoid any infection, by Regularly washing of hands, Wearing face masks and Observing Physical distancing.
