The minimum entry requirements for IJMB Programmes in the specified field are:

  • WAEC/SSCE, NECO, GCE, NABTEB and Teachers Grade Two Certificate with atleast five (5) credit passes or equivalent (in not more than two (2) sittings) in relevant subjects.

Niger State Polytechnic HND Admission Requirements.

The minimum entry requirements for Higher National Diploma (HND) programmes in the specified field are:

  • National Diploma (ND) in relevant field with a minimum of Lower Credit grade obtained from recognized institution, plus five (5) relevant credits which must include English Language and Mathematics at WAEC/SSCE, NECO, GCE, NABTEB or Teachers’ Grade Two Certificate.
  • A minimum of one (1) year post National Diploma (ND) cognate working experience (industrial training).
  • All applicants (except those who obtained their ND from Niger State Polytechnic, Zungeru) are to send transcripts of their National Diploma (ND) under confidential covers to the Registrar, Niger State Polytechnic, Zungeru to ease consideration of their admission.

Osun State University (UNIOSUN) Post-UTME / DE Screening Form for 2020/2021 Academic Session Now on Sale


The general public is hereby informed that the post UTME and Direct Entry screening exercise Application Forms for admission into the undergraduate programmes of the Osun State University (UNIOSUN) are now available on-line.

Candidates Eligible for UNIOSUN Post UTME Screening Exercise.

Candidates who chose Osun State University as their First choice, with a minimum score of 160.

However, candidates that intend to study Accounting, Business Administration and Political Science must score at least 180 marks while candidates that scored less than 200 marks would not be considered for admission into any of the underlisted programmes:

  • Nursing
  • Medicine
  • Law
  • Common and Islamic Law

Meanwhile, candidates who chose any of these courses but scored less than 200 could change to any other relevant programme of their choice.

UNIOSUN will admit only candidates who made at least five (5) credit passes in SSCE/NECO/NABTEB in the relevant subjects at not more than two sittings except for Medicine, Nursing and Law, where candidates are expected to have at least five (5) credit passes in SSCE/NECO in the relevant subjects at one sitting. The University also accepts a minimum of Lower credit for Direct Entry candidates.

Candidates should meticulously provide their O’ Level details on the University portal. Any candidate that supplies wrong information would be prosecuted by law enforcement agencies and the admission of such candidates withdrawn, once discovered.  Candidates awaiting results should supply it within one week of release. Any candidate who fails to participate in the screening exercise will not be considered for admission.

In line with the extant national policy, any candidate who will be less than Sixteen(16) years of age at the point of registration/documentation for the programme needs not apply.

How to Apply for UNIOSUN Post UTME Form.

Candidates are to register on-line by accessing the University website to complete and submit an application. They are expected to print two (2) copies of the application form after submission.

Visit the Uniosun Post UTME Portal via http://admissions.uniosun.edu.ng. This will take you to the online Application Platform. Ensure you read all registration guidelines and instructions before proceeding to register.

Payments of N2,000.00 (two thousand Naira) for the Post UTME Screening is through the Interswitch Web PAY platform using your ATM cards (Mastercard, Verve card and Interswitch enabled Cards.

DIRECT ENTRY CANDIDATES:

  • Direct Entry candidates should complete the form on-line following the same process as above and ensure that they read the admission requirements of the university before applying to any of its programmes. They are also expected to forward their Academic Transcripts to the Registrar of Osun State University not later than Friday 11th September, 2020.
  • ALL Direct Entry candidates including UNIOSUN (IJMB, JUPEB) Programme, who wish to be considered for admission into Osun State University for the 2020/2021 academic Session, who must have obtained Direct Entry form from JAMB are also eligible to apply for the screening exercise.

CHANGE OF INSTITUTION:

  • Candidates who are willing to change from other Institutions to make Osun State University as their first choice are also eligible to register for the Post-UTME Screening exercise.
  • However, candidates who made UNIOSUN as their first choice but could not find their names on first choice list should use the “OTHER CHOICE” option for their screening registration and supply their correct information which will be verified accordingly.

CENTRAL ADMISSION PROCESSING SYSTEM (CAPS):

  • The 2020/2021 admission exercise will be based on Central Admission Processing System (CAPS), a system designed by Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) to automate the admissions process to tertiary institutions. All candidates are advised to upload their O’Level results to the JAMB CAPS portal as a pre-condition for admission.

Applicants who have passed ATS (3) or ICAN foundation stages are qualified to apply for admission into Higher National Diploma in Accountancy. Applicants with Advanced Certificate in either Accountancy or Banking and Finance are also qualified to apply.

In addition, applicants must satisfy all the requirements for admission into the relevant ND programme of their choice in the Faculty of Management Sciences, Osun State College of Technology, Esa Oke which should include five (5) credit passes in GCE ‘O’Level or SSCE of WAEC, or SSCE of NECO or NTC of NABTEB at not more than two sittings in English Language, Mathematics and any other three (3) from Economics, Commerce, Business Methods, Principles of Accounts, Statistics, Geography, Biology, Agricultural Science, Chemistry, Physics, History and Government.

B. FACULTY OF ENVIRONMENTAL STUDIES

  1. Two-year Higher National Diploma in Estate Management

In addition, applicants must satisfy all the requirements for admission into the relevant ND programme of choice in the Faculty of Environmental Studies, Osun State College of Technology, Esa Oke which should include five (5) credit passes in GCE ‘O’Level or SSCE of WAEC, or SSCE of NECO or NTC of NABTEB at not more than two sittings.

i. Higher National Diploma in Estate Management:

Applicants must possess five (5) O’Level credit passes obtained in English Language, Mathematics, Economics, and any two (2) credit passes from the following which must include One (1) Science subject from Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Agricultural Science, Principles of Accounts, Government, Further Mathematics, Geography, Technical Drawing, Woodwork, Blocklaying & Concreting and Metalwork.

ii. Higher National Diploma in Building Technology:

Applicants must possess credit passes in Mathematics, Physics plus any three (3) from the following subjects: Chemistry, Geography, Government, Further Mathematics, Technical Drawing, Building Engineering Drawing, Plumbing, Woodwork/Metalwork, Building Construction, Bricklaying/Blocklaying/Concreting, Joinery/Carpentry, English Language, Walls, Floor and Ceiling finishing, Economics, Commerce, Agricultural Science and Biology. At least a Pass in English Language is compulsory.

iii. Higher National Diploma in Quantity Surveying:

Applicants must possess credit passes in Mathematics, Physics, English Language plus any two (2) from the following subjects: Economics, Commerce, Technical Drawing, Fine Arts, Chemistry, Geography, Woodwork, Biology, Agricultural Science, Building Construction and Further Mathematics.

iv. Higher National Diploma in Architectural Technology:

Applicants must possess credit passes in Mathematics, Physics plus any three (3) from the following subjects: Biology, Woodwork, Chemistry, Geography, Economics, Commerce, Agricultural Science, Technical Drawing, English Language, Fine Arts and Business Methods.

v. Higher National Diploma in Urban and Regional Planning:

Applicants must possess five (5) credit passes in English Language, Mathematics, Economics or Geography and any two (2) other subjects from the following subjects: Economics, Commerce, Fine Arts/Technical Drawing, Statistics, Chemistry, Physics, Biology, Agricultural Science, History, Business Methods, Principles of Accounts, Government, Building Construction, and Woodwork. One of the two (2) subjects must be a basic Science.

vi. Higher National Diploma in Surveying and Geo-informatics:

Applicants must possess credit passes in Mathematics, Physics and any other three (3) subjects from the following: Further Mathematics, Chemistry, Technical Drawing/Fine Arts, Statistics, Geography, Economics, Commerce, English Language, Biology, Agricultural Science, and Basic Surveying.

C. FACULTY OF ENGINEERING

Waiver and special consideration

A good National Diploma Certificate in Computer Engineering may be considered for admission into Electrical/Electronics Engineering. However, such applicants must have satisfied the General Entry Requirements.

iii. Higher National Diploma in Mechanical Engineering

Five O’level credits which must include English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and any one from the following: Biology, Agricultural Science, Auto Mechanic, Welding and Fabrication, Building Engineering Drawing and Technical Drawing.

D. FACULTY OF PURE AND APPLIED SCIENCES

  1. Two-year Higher National Diploma in Statistics
  2. Two-year Higher National Diploma in Science Laboratory Technology:
    • Microbiology (Option)

In addition, applicants must satisfy all the requirements for admission into the relevant ND programme of choice in the Faculty of Applied Sciences, Osun State College of Technology, Esa Oke which should include five (5) credit passes in GCE ‘O’Level or SSCE of WAEC, or SSCE of NECO or NTC of NABTEB in Mathematics, Physics and three (3) other relevant subjects at

not more than two sittings. Applicants for Statistics may not need to possess a credit pass in Physics, but applicants for (i) and (ii) above must possess at least a pass in English language..

Applicants must possess credit passes in Mathematics and any other four (4) subjects from the following: Physics, Chemistry, Economics, Statistics, Geography, Commerce, Government, History, Further Mathematics, Biology, Agricultural Science, Typewriting, Principles of Accounts, Business Methods, Social Studies, English Language, Basic Electronics, Basic Electricity, Auto Mechanics, Metalwork, Fine Arts and Woodwork.

ii. Higher National Diploma in Science Laboratory Technology:

  • Microbiology (Option)
  • Physics with Electronics (Option)

Applicants must possess five (5) credit passes in Mathematics, English Language, Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Agricultural Science.

Applicants must possess credit passes in Mathematics, Physics and any three (3) other subjects from the following: Economics, Statistics, Geography, Further Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Agricultural Science, Basic Electronics, English Language, Basic Electricity, Auto Mechanics, Metalwork, Woodwork and Technical Drawing. At least a pass in English Language is compulsory.

Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) Direct Entry Admission Screening Form for 2020/2021 Academic Session Now on Sale


Direct Entry Applicants who have chosen the Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, LAUTECH as first choice of institution in the JAMB application and as well as those who have changed their most preferred institution to LAUTECH in the 2020/2021 JAMB with a minimum of Upper Credit in ND, Credit in NCE and Lower Credit in HND in relevant subjects are invited to the university’s admission screening exercise.

How to Apply for LAUTECH Direct Entry.

  1. proceed to log on to the university’s website www.admissions.lautech.edu.ng to make payment of non-refundable fee of Two Thousand Naira(N2,000 .00) only for the purpose of online registration for the screening and result checking, using inter-switch enabled debit cards (ATM).
  2. Carefully complete and submit online the application form;
  3. Upload a digital copy of scanned passport photograph with white background not more than 20kb which must be in JPEG (i.e. jpg) with no eye glasses or veil and
  4. Print out the acknowledgement page to ascertain successful registration.

Other Relevant Information to Direct Entry Candidates:

Direct Entry Candidates including those on LAUTECH JUPEB programme or other Institutions’ JUPEB programmes, who wish to be considered for admission for the 2020/2021 academic session in the university must have obtained Direct Entry form from JAMB to be eligible for the oral screening interview which date shall be announced soon. However, candidates are expected to forward their academic transcript to the Registrar, Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Ogbomoso not later than Friday, October 16, 2020.

Candidates are to visit the admission portal of the University www.admissions.lautech.edu.ng to complete and submit their applications while ensuring strict compliance with admission requirements of the University before applying for any of its programmes.

Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) Post UTME Admission Screening Form for 2020/2021 Academic Session Now on Sale


This is to inform all the candidates that made Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH), Ogbomoso as their first choice as well as those that have changed their most preferred institution to LAUTECH in the 2020/2021 Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) that they are invited to a Post-UTME Computer Based Test (CBT) Screening Exercise.

LAUTECH Post UTME Screening Eligibility.

  • For candidate to be eligible for the exercise, he or she must have scored 170 marks and above in the 2020/2021 UTME.
  • LAUTECH will admit only candidates who passed at credit level in at least five (5) relevant subjects at not more than two (2) sittings in SSCE/NECO/NABTEB for UTME while the University accepts a minimum of Upper Credit and JUPEB/ A’ Level for Direct Entry candidates with five (5) credit passes in SSCE/NECO/NABTEB in the relevant subjects.Candidates should carefully study the University Brochure as provided on the University website to guide them in completion of their application forms.

    How to Apply for LAUTECH Post UTME Form.

    Application form will be available online for completion and submission from Friday, August 21 to Friday, September 25, 2020.

    • Applicants are to proceed to the admissions website of the University www.admissions.lautech.edu.ng to make payment of a fee of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000 .00) only for the purpose of online registration for the screening exercise using Inter-Switch Enabled Debit Cards (ATM).
    • Applicants are expected to carefully complete and submit the online application form as incomplete application form will not be treated. In completing the online application form, a candidate is expected to upload a digital copy of his/her scanned passport photograph which must be in JPEG (i.e. jpg) and must not be more than 20kb. The photograph must be in white background showing ears, with no cap and glasses.
    • On submission of the application form, a candidate is to print out an acknowledgement page which assigns him/her the venue and date of the screening exercise.

    Other Relevant Information:

    • Applicants are to note that before admission can be offered by the University, they must have uploaded their O’Level results on CAPS and once admission is offered, the candidates must either accept or reject the admission on CAPS before JAMB’s closure of CAPS for the year in order to be on JAMB Matriculation list for the year.
    • Applicants are to note that late completion/submission of application forms will not be entertained.
    • Any applicant with blurred picture on the acknowledgement page will not be admitted into the screening center as the photograph will be used as means of identification.
    • Applicants are also to provide valid and active email addresses and phone numbers through which the University can send information
    • Any applicant who fails to present himself/herself for the Computer Based Test (CBT) as scheduled, automatically forfeits being considered for admission.
    • Applicants are advised to come for the exercise with their acknowledgement page colour print-out. The use of cell phones (GSM, CDMA, PDA) and other electronic devices is NOT ALLOWED during the test.

Akwa Ibom State University (AKSU) Post UTME / DE Screening Form for 2020/2021 Academic Session Now on Sale


Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the Akwa Ibom State University (AKSU) Post UTME and Direct Entry Screening Exercise for the 2020/2021 academic session

Online applications are invited from qualified UTME candidates and as well as Direct Entry (DE) applicants.

AKSU Post UTME Eligibility.

  • ONLY Candidates who scored 160 and above in the 2020 UTME conducted by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and Direct Entry (DE) candidates who made the Akwa Ibom State University (AKSU) their First Choice Institution, are eligible for screening.
  • In addition, each candidate must possess at least five (5) credit passes including English Language at not more than two (2) sittings.
  • Direct Entry candidates must be holders of OND/NCE/HND/First Degree/ A Level in relevant discipline and subjects

UPLOADING OF O’LEVEL RESULTS:

  • All candidates are to upload their SSCE results online through the University’s website (www.aksu.edu.ng/portal) from Monday, July 27, 2020 to 25th of September 2020.
  • Candidates are advised to ensure that their O’level results are also uploaded in JAMB Portal, appropriately.
  • All uploaded documents must be clear and legible. Blurred or unclear documents will lead to automatic disqualification.
  • Any candidate who fails to upload his/her results and other relevant academic qualification (original) will NOT be considered for admission by the University.

Requirements for AKSU Post-UTME / DE Screening Exercise:

  1. 2020 UTME Result slip showing candidate’s photograph in colour.
  2. 2020 JAMB DE printout (Direct Entry applicants only).
  3. WAEC/NECO/NABTEB Certificate/Result and Scratch Card(s) details as may be applicable.
  4. Diploma, NCE or A-level result or certificate (Direct Entry applicants only)
  5. Birth Certificate
  6. Certificate of origin.
  7. Certificate of Medical Fitness from approved Government Hospital.

How to Apply for AKSU Post UTME Form.

The University portal will be opened for registration from Monday, July 27, 2020.

Visit http://portal.aksu.edu.ng to generate Pre-Payment Analysis Slip, by following the steps below:

  1. Click on REGISTER NOW LINK in the Login Page
  2. Select PUTME/DIRECT ENTRY in the Registration-Type Panel and click on PUTME link.
  3. Enter your JAMB registration number and click VERIFY.
  4. On the right hand side of the page showing your details, select CLICK TO MAKE PAYMENT and print the pre- payment slip so generated.
  5. Proceed to the Bank with the pre-analysis slip and inform the Bank teller that you wish to make fee payment for Akwa Ibom State University Post-UTME screening using e-transact.
  6. The Screening fee is N2,000
  7. After payment, repeat steps 1 to 3 above. The payment status on the right side of the page should now show PAID.
  8. Click the “>” symbol at the extreme right hand side of the page to proceed with registration process.
  9. Complete the form and ensure you clearly scan and upload the following documents (with sizes not more than 100KB)
    • 2020 UTME result printout.
    • 2020 JAMB DE printout (Direct Entry applicants only).
    • WAEC/NECO/NABTEB Certificate/Result and Scratch Card(s) details as may be applicable.
    •  Degree, Diploma, NCE or A-level result certificate (Direct Entry applicants only)
    •  Certificate of origin.
    • Birth Certificate
    • Certificate of Medical Fitness from approved Government Hospital
  10. Print two (2) copies of AKSU Registration Slip from the portal. This will serve as AKSU PUTME/DE screening Registration Card.

NOTE:

  • Candidates who do not register for the Post-UTME screening exercise would not be considered for admission.
  • Applicants who did NOT choose AKSU or change to AKSU as their University of First Choice in the 2020 UTME or Direct Entry are NOT eligible for this exercise.
  • On filling the application form, each applicant should endeavour to use his/her own phone number and valid e-mail address in order to receive timely alerts, messages and directives. Do not use those of a cyber café operator or any other third party.
  • Misrepresentation/falsification of documents is a serious offence. Candidates are, therefore, advised to submit genuine documents only.
  • No candidate with awaiting result will be offered admission in AKSU. Kindly upload your O’level results in AKSU and JAMB portals.
  • Early commencement of registration is advised to avoid congestion close to deadline.
