EKSU POST UTME/DE FORM FOR 2020/2021 SESSION NOT YET OUT

The attention of the Management of Ekiti State University, Ado Ekiti has been drawn to an online advertisement purportedly claiming that the Post UTME/ Direct Entry form for the 2020/2021 session of the university is out.

In the advertisement, unsuspecting candidates were directed to pay a sum of #2,600.00 and to login to https://login.remita.net/remita/onepage/G0000143424/biller.sp to process the application.

Management of Ekiti State University wishes to disclaim the online advertisement as it did not emanate from the authorities of the university.

Parents and particularly candidates are hereby advised to be wary of scammers that are only out to dupe them and avoid the site as it does not belong to Ekiti State University, Ado Ekiti.

The Management of the university is already working on its own advertisement that would direct candidates appropriately. The advertisement would soon be out and would be published in a major national newspaper as well as made available on the university website.

The general public is hereby advised to disregard the purported advertisement as it did not emanate from Ekiti State University, Ado Ekiti.

The Chairman, Governing Board of National Board for Technical Education (NBTE), Professor Modupe Adelabu has showered encomium on Yaba College of Technology (Yabatech) for moving to 2nd from its former 7th position in the latest Polytechnic webometric ranking in Nigeria.

Professor Adelabu praised the administration of Engr. Obafemi Omokungbe who within a year transformed the College into a peaceful and rancor free environment with stable academic calendar.

The former deputy governor of Ekiti State who was in the College to inspect ongoing Tetfund projects, noted that if the College continue to maintain its peaceful academic stability it will move from number 2 position to being number 1 in no distant time.

The NBTE Chairman opined that the College has produced personalities that are making waves both in Nigeria and abroad, especially in the area of Accounting profession. She hinted that this has been possible due to the quality of staff in the arsenal of the College.

Adelabu implored the College to invest more in skills development, up to the stage of exporting skills and not importing skills, likewise to invest more in technical education and in Engineering, in fact, Yabatech should be the first point of call when looking for quality Engineers, she buttressed.

Earlier in his welcome address, Omokungbe appreciated her for visiting the College to inspect Tetfund capital project. He thanked Tetfund for its intervention assistance to ongoing capital projects in the institution campuses at Yaba and Epe.

She later alongside Yabatech Management team inspected Construction of Comfort Station; Classrooms, Offices and Highway Laboratories, Rehabilitation and Refurbishment of Engineering Block, Construction of Lecture Theatre Building for School of Management and Business Studies (SMBS), and Construction of 2 Storey Building for SMBS. She was impressed with the level of the work at all the projects she visited.

• Applicants for must possess a minimum of five O’Level credit including Mathematics and English Language and other subjects related to course of study in not more than two sittings.
• A National Diploma (ND) obtained with a minimum of Lower Credit in the relevant disciplines from National Board for Technical Education (NBTE) accredited programmes.
• A minimum of one (1) year Industrial Training in the field of specialization.
• Candidates who obtained ND at Pass level with a minimum of two (2) years Industrial Training Experience.

• Candidates who did not choose Delta State Polytechnic, Ogwashi-Uku, but now wish to be considered for admission and scored 140 and above in the 2020 UTME
• Only Candidates who sat for the 2020 UTME are eligible to apply
• Candidates must possess at least Five (5) Credit Passes in SSCE (WAEC & NECO), GCE O’level, NABTEB or its equivalent in relevant subjects including English Language and Mathematics in not more than Two (2) Sittings

How to Obtain DSPG Post UTME Form.

1. Go to https://dspg.waeup.org

2. Click on Application on the menu

3. Click on the Application Category: ND

4. Click on Register for Application button at the top left of the page

5. Fill the displayed Form. Note that asterix is a compulsory field. That you must have a valid email address then Click send login credentials to email address

6. Go to your email address, open the sent message. Copy the username and the password on the email

7. Go to the portal (dspg.waeup.org). At the top right click login

8. Paste the copied username and password to the respective field.

9. Click login. Your page will be displayed. Click edit application record button

10. Fill the form (Remember asterix means compulsory). Under passport photo click select button, upload a passport photograph of maximum size 50kb with red background. Then tick the field “I confirm that the passport
photograph uploaded on this form is a true photo of me”. Then save. Your passport photograph will be uploaded if it’s the right size.

11. If successful in uploading a picture, click on add online payment ticket. Then, click on College PAY and then submit. It will take you to Interswitch website

12. Select the type of card on ATM Card: Verve or Master Card for online payment. Enter the nineteen (19) digit number, the expiry date, and CVV number at the back of the card and your four (04) digit secret pin, then
click on pay. Then print your payment slip.

13. If unsuccessful payment click on Requery College PAY before going to back to item 10 above

14. Review your application data before final online submission. Note that submitted application cannot be edited again by the applicant.

There shall be no physical screening. All Candidates will be screened online with their qualifying entry requirement.

This is to inform all candidates who applied for admission into Kogi State University (now Prince Abubakar Audu University – PAAU), Anyigba, for the 2020/2021 Academic Session and who made the institution their FIRST CHOICE, that the admission screening exercise will take place between Monday, 14th to Friday 19th September, 2020 for both UTME candidates and Direct Entry candidates (Printouts to decide date for various candidates. The admission screening will be through a Computer-Based Test (CBT) in subjects similar to their UTME subject combination.

Candidates who made the University their SECOND CHOICE NEED NOT REGISTER for the Screening Exercise.

Candidates, parents, guardians, and the general public are to note that ability to read and click or move the mouse on the computer are the only requirements for the test.

KSU Post UTME Screening Exercise Eligibility.

• Only candidates with UTME Score of 160 and above with minimum of Five (5) O’Level Credit Passes in the relevant subject, including English Language (and Mathematics for programmes in Faculties of Natural Sciences, Management Sciences, Agriculture, Social Sciences and some programmes in the Faculty of Education) at not more than two sittings are eligible to attend the Screening Exercise. However, some courses required marks that are way higher than 160, it’s advisable you check ››› KSU Cut-Off Marks for 2020/2021 Admission Exercise.
• Direct Entry Candidates should have minimum of 9 points from A’level result or its equivalent; (and minimum of “C grade” for teaching subjects in NCE) Upper Credit in OND or Lower Credit in HND.
• Diploma must be in the course applied

Note: UTME Candidates who did not meet up with the courses they applied for are advised to effect change of course on www.jamb.org.ng as appropriate. (JAMB course combination for every course must be put into consideration). Candidates are advised to check requirements/subjects combination for their respective programmes on the portal.

How to Apply for KSU Post UTME Screening Form.

Registration for the Screening Exercise will start on Monday 10th August, 2020 and close on Sunday, 6th September, 2020 at midnight.

• To register online login to the University’s portal, http://www.kogistateuniversity.edu.ng/utme and click on “Apply Now” on the Side Menu
• Candidates are to Login with their JAMB’s UTME number as user ID (example UTME No J245521) and “password” as the password. Candidates are advised to change this password at first log in.
• Proceed to Online Payment by Clicking on “Pay UTME Fee” link to make payment of N2000 (Two thousand naira only)directly on the portal with your bank debit card /
• After Successful payment, proceed to complete the application form by first completing the Bio Data form and other relevant information.
• Candidate will be required to upload a scanned copy of their recent passport photograph (file size: not more than 200KB) with white
• After completing the application form, Preview your application to ensure the information entered is correct then click on “Submit Application”.
• After successful submission, candidates are required to print a “Registration Slip” as a means of identification into the Computer Based Test Examination (CBT) venue.
• Candidates are advised to strictly adhere with the Screening date as shown on their Registration Slip.
• Candidates MUST arrive at the Professor F.S. Idachaba Lecture Theatre ONE HOUR before their Scheduled screening time to ensure proper briefing and accreditation.
• Candidates are prohibited from coming into the Examination Hall with a mobile phone(s), flash drive, modem, writing pen, pencil and/or any electronic gadgets.

• Direct entry candidates will be taken with the First batch candidates and are required to upload relevant documents.
• Candidates awaiting 2020 WAEC and NECO examination, should note that their Post-UTME screening exercise will come Immediately after the WAEC examination.
